Hope Pastures Braying for Joy: A Sweet Update on Walter, Our New Donkey -

You might have read about, or even met, Walter, the new donkey that came to us just before Christmas 2025

It was an extremely worrying start when Walter, who was very nervous, first arrived with us. He was very poorly, had no appetite and was touch and go for a while.

Fast forward to now, and he’s eating well and has been introduced to our donkey herd. He’s still super nervous but learning to trust us more and more each day

Walter has had a full MOT including :

A dental examination
He has been wormed
Had a visit from Swfarriers to have his feet trimmed
Had two vaccinations
