A DAY AT HOPE PASTURES
Our Pony Days started in 2006. In addition to having lots of fun, children learn about the importance of animal welfare and how to care for animals.
EVENTS AND SHOWS
We run lots of popular events and shows throughout the year.
HOPE PASTURES EXPERIENCE
A Hope Pastures Experience is a great way to get to know our amazing animals.
The Experience can be for up to 2 people and is great for both adults or children. However, please note the minimum age for children to be involved in a Hope Pastures Experience is age 5.
The Experience includes a personal tour of the Sanctuary, plus time grooming and looking after one of the ponies. If you would prefer the Experience to be with our lovely donkeys instead, then please ask.
Make sure you bring your camera as a photo of you and our pony or donkey is sure to be a “must have”. Most Experiences run for about an hour, but we can organise for longer if you wish.

SUMMER SCHOOL HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES
Come and visit us during the school holidays. Our visitor centre is open every day for drinks and snacks and you can wander around our site, meet the equines and complete fun, free activity sheets and quizzes.
You can also book and partake in a Hope Pastures Experience which is a great way to get to know our animals.A Hope Pastures’ Experience is for 1 to 2 people (or children). GIVE TALKS AND PRESENTATIONS
Our team enjoy sharing their experiences and would welcome the chance to come to your school/group/organisation to explain what we do and how we make a difference.
GROUP VISITS
We welcome all sorts of groups to Hope Pastures, including schools, brownies, cubs, toddlers, care homes and social groups. Visits typically last about an hour. They include a guided tour of the sanctuary, an informal talk from one of our experienced volunteers, or a fun quiz for our younger visitors.
The cost for a group visit is £65
BIRTHDAY PARTIES
Birthday parties for up to 6 children are held on Saturdays or Sundays 11.00am until 1.00 pm. They include pony-based activities/games, a ‘behind the scenes’ tour of the yard to meet the ponies and pony/donkey enrichment activities (activities may vary).
The birthday child also receives a free adoption pack.

ATTEND LOCAL SHOWS, FETES AND FAIRS
Throughout the year we go to a variety of local shows, school fetes and fairs. We usually have our own stall.
CORPORATE VOLUNTEERING
We have a range of tasks where groups of corporate volunteers can help. These include fence and shelter painting, gardening, barn and site clearance and fence repair. We organise special days for groups from 2 people up to 12. Feedback from all of our groups shows they find the day very rewarding.
