Birthday Parties
Hope Pastures Pony Birthday Parties take place on Saturdays and Sundays, and these run throughout the year.
The total cost of a Hope Pastures Pony Party is £100
The parties run for 2 hours between:
11.00 am – 1.00 pm
The activities included in the Pony Parties are:
- Creative activities
- Behind-the-scenes tour of the yard
- Meet the ponies
- Pony/donkey enrichment activities (activities may vary)
- The birthday child also receives a free Pony Adoption
The last half hour of the party is set aside for food/cake if you choose to bring some. Food is eaten in our party marquee. Parents normally provide the food for the parties; however, we do have a Visitor Centre where you can purchase hot drinks, cold drinks, chocolate bars, crisps, and warm snacks such as toasted teacakes. Alternatively, Uber Eats can deliver to us if that is of interest.
We can also provide party bags, which cost £4 per bag, if this is something you would like to add.
The maximum number of children we can accommodate for each Pony Party is 6 children, and the minimum age for children to be involved in our party activities is age 5.
The total cost of a Hope Pastures Pony Party is £100, which is to be paid on booking with our office staff. Please note that if you cancel your booking over 8 weeks before the event, we will issue a full refund. If your party is cancelled within 8 weeks of the date of the party, we will take a £30.00 fee to cover the cost of cancellation and refund the balance of £70.00 to you. There is a maximum of 6 Children
The minimum age for children to be involved in party activities is age 5
The majority of the day will be spent outdoors with the animals. Food is served in our Party Marquee
Parents normally provide the food for parties. However, cold snacks and teacakes can be purchased on site
Hope Pastures is a working yard. So please wrap up warm if the weather is cold and always wear appropriate footwear. Wellingtons are normally a good choice.
Party food is consumed in the Party Marquee. We do also have a Visitors Centre where you can purchase hot drinks, cold drinks, chocolate, crisps and toasted teacakes.
As our wonderful ponies are rescue animals, they are not always trained for riding when they arrive, and that is not something we do here at Hope Pastures. Therefore our party activities are aimed are learning how to care for the animals (grooming, brushing, plaiting) as well as fun games and activities with the animals.
The total cost is £100 paid upfront

The parties last for 2 hours. The last half hour is normally set aside for food
Parents normally drop the children off at Hope Pastures for the parties, however, they are welcome to stay and wander around the yards to meet our other wonderful animals, or they can head to the Visitors Centre where they can purchase hot drinks, and cold drinks and snacks.
Our Party bags cost £4 per bag and include a toy, Hope Pastures Merchandise and some chocolate.
We will always try to accommodate these requests wherever possible. However, please be aware that our ponies are rescue animals, and therefore might be a little too shy or timid to take part in the party activities.
Of course. You can bring younger children to Hope Pastures and wander around the yards to meet our other lovely animals. However, for health and safety, we advise the minimum age to be involved in the party activities with the animals is age 5.
