Rio is in our ‘Rehab to Rehome Scheme’. He came to Hope Pastures in December 2025 with his Donkey friend Walter. By sponsoring Rio, you are helping towards his rehabilitation.

Your sponsorship covers Rio for as long as she is with us at Hope Pastures. We have no set time frame on how long it takes us to rehabilitate a horse; it could be a few months or a few years.

We will email you to let you know when Rio has been happily rehomed and is no longer on site.
