A horse salt lick, also known as a mineral lick, is a block of salt and other essential minerals that horses can lick freely to supplement their diet. It serves several crucial functions:

Replenishing Salt and Electrolytes: Horses lose a significant amount of sodium and chloride (the components of salt) through sweat, especially during exercise or in hot weather.
