We have available for loan a sweet 13.2hh Chestnut mare. Spice is available for loan as a non ridden companion pony. Spice has struggled with laminitis in the past and although has fully recovered now will require preventative management in the future. Spice is a real favourite on the yard and is good to do in all ways.

Spice is great to catch, lead, tie up, groom, to pick her feet out. She has seen some traffic and we feel she will be fine to be taken out for walks in hand and doesn’t seem to mind coming away from the other horses.

Spice is good with mares, geldings or a mixed herd. She respects fencing and is lovely to have around. Given her age she is better suited to being a non ridden pony but could have some enrichment with in hand exercise and positive reinforcement.

Spice has cushings so is on a tablet of prascend daily, she requires 6 monthly blood tests. She would suit an environment with a pony needing the same management. Spice currently has remedial farriery although we are hoping to transition her back to barefoot in the near future in accordance with farriers advice.

Spice currently lives in on a night and out during the day, she could also live out on a night and in during the day depending on the new home’s preference. It is also an option for her to be kept out 24/7 with a shelter on a track system. She respects fencing and gets along great with any horse, pony or donkey she meets!

Spice is passported, microchipped and up to date with Flu and Tetanus vaccinations and deworming. She is well behaved and up to date with the farrier and dentist. Spice is good to load and travels like a dream.

We are looking for a special home to open their stable door to Spice.  Although she is an older pony, she has so much love to give it would be great to see her with a new family. If you feel you can offer her this kind of home please get in touch!

More photo’s and video’s available upon request. Re-homing fees apply for Spice this is £150. To avoid disappointment before applying please take a moment to read our minimum requirements, these are found below the ponies available.
