Pearl is still waiting for her forever home…

Pearl was rescued from the Dartmoor hills from being culled. She was very nervous and untrusting in other people. She has been in Foster homes ever since and has come a long way, she is now ready to start her ridden education.

Current Training

She is now good to catch, lead, load and travel. She is happily wearing tack and lunging. She will stand to be brushed and have her feet picked out. She is looking for a family able to offer her a loving and secure home where she can learn and be treated with the kindness she deserves. She is based in a foster home in North Yorkshire where she can be viewed.

Vet and farrier

  • Good for the vet. She requires a patient farrier as she can be unbalanced. She needed some slight sedation for the dentist but we are looking to try without next visit.
  • Pearl is good to catch, lead, tie up and groom.
  • She is good to be brought away from other horses.
  • She has been led out on quiet roads, in traffic and on busy roads.
  • Good to load in a horsebox and trailer.
  • Good to travel in a horsebox and trailer.
  • Wears a saddle and bridle.
  • Lunging and started long reining and having a rider lean over her.
