Toddy
Todddy is a 12.3hh 19 year old gelding, he is a welsh type who is very hardy.
He is friendly and easy to handle, loves being tied up and groomed, he is good with the farrier and vet although he needs to be handled in a calm manner as he can be slightly nervous at times.
Sunday 13th April 2008. Toddy has gone to live in a lovely new home close to Hope Pastures, where he will be ridden now and again and also used as a companion.
The home is with two other horses, one of whom gets extremely distressed when the other horse would leave to go out on a ride.
This horse is very elderly and there was concern over him becoming so upset when he was left alone, so it is hoped that eventually he will bond with Toddy and so not have to be left by himself.The Lady who has fostered Toddy has two young children so he will be used as a lead rein pony which will give him the excercise he needs and also keep his mind busy.
